I have been faithfully waiting for this course for a long time. I checked out the first five lessons and, like all other courses by Mr Zheng Tao, this one introduces Chinese characters with such clarity, logic and historical interest that it should become a model for other instructors to follow.
Although I knew many of the characters presented in this course, the clarity of Mr Zheng Tao’s presentations still helped me to solidify my basic knowledge of Chinese characters and to understand what I do know better. I am now again eagerly waiting for Level 2 to be published. Thank you Mr Zheng Tao. You are without a doubt a very talented teacher.

I agree with Mr. Len’s comments about this course. I have tried others, and stumbled across Litao on youtube. Zheng-Tao’s speaking skills, cadence and presentation are perfectly paced, simply and thoroughly explained, and each lesson has just the right amount of information so that you don’t become overwhelmed. For me the paradigm of this course is exactly what I’ve been looking for and could never find, and I feel I have a chance of becoming successful at speaking and writing Mandarin.
I came here intending to let you know how well structured and effective your teaching method and your content are – just to find that others are expressing the exact same sentiment. Your content and approach are significantly more effective than other things I have tried in the recent past. Explaining the background and context of the strokes, and helping us learn with small chunks of information, and in the right sequence are the keys to success. I will be eager to buy more content in the future if you decide to create more advanced levels of content. But you have given me enough good information to keep me busy for several months.
