Course Description
This course includes 20 lessons designed for totally beginner. After working through this course, your Chinese level will be equal to the 1st level of the HSK test. You will be able to understand and use simple and basic Chinese that is closely related to personal or everyday life, such as greeting others, asking and introducing someone’s name and nationality, asking for someone’s telephone number, asking about the time and date, making a simple suggestion and request, reading numbers from 0~999, making a simple phone call, asking for price, etc.

1. Watch each video lecture at least twice, and take notes when watching it.
2. Listen to the dialogue as much as possible until you can repeat it by yourself.
3. Get at least 90% correct rate before you start a new lesson.

If you’re a total beginner, I suggest that you take the Pinyin course first, because pronunciation is the foundation for your future learning. And then you can take the HSK course (Level 1 & 2) for listening and speaking. The Chinese character course can either be taken at the same time as the Level 1 course or can be started after completing the Level 1 course.
