In each video of this series, first you listen to a story or dialogue at normal speed to get the main idea. Second, listen to the same material but at a much lower speed, and at the same time complete each sentence by filling in the blank with the words or phrases you hear. Lastly, answer a few questions about the story or dialogue.

In today’s Chinese (HSK Level 2) practice lesson, you’re going to hear about Shanghai’s weather in four seasons.

上海一年有四个季节：春天、夏天、秋天和冬天。

四月和五月是上海的春天，天气很暖和，很少下雨。

从六月开始，气温会越来越高，而且常常下雨，所以上海的夏天又热又潮湿。

十月和十一月是上海的秋天，天气很凉快很舒服。

上海冬天很少下雪。每年一月是最冷的时候，最低气温大概零下五度。

如果你想来上海旅游，春天和秋天是最好的季节。

Shànghǎi yī nián yǒu sì gè jìjié: chūntiān, xiàtiān, qiūtiān hé dōngtiān.
